Welcome one and all to the Arcane Explosion that is my very own D&D Forum. I'm super-excited to be getting this up, and games should be up and running soon. All of you (who I invited anyway) are somewhat familiar with the game and very familiar with me. I have a few regulations I'd like to get out in the open.
1. Have fun, don't be a jerk. Anyone disobeying either of these is a big problem.
2. There is absolutely no swearing or foul language allowed on the out-of-character forums.
3. If you must swear strictly in-character, keep it pg, and very infrequently. I will not edit excessively vulgar posts, I will delete them.
4. All posts in the game forums must be in-character. If you want me to make a roll for your character, put it in parenthesis at the bottom of your post. If you say that you attack, the roll is implied, but I'd appreciate it if all other rolls were specified.
5. I will make all die rolls.
6. If you wish to make another topic for some reason, please ask me first.
Specific instructions for other topics will be posted in their respective forum.

This topic, if you've probably figured out, exists for random discussions about anything. Specific games will have their own chat, so feel free to just talk about whatever on here.

I'm pretty sure Gerald Kirk is also playing, and I still need to wait for him. Once he's up (or if he decides not to play (he wasn't a big fan of the whole online idea)) we can get going. I apologize for the long wait, but it should be soon.

He's trying to get his character online, but he has a lot on his plate right now.

It occurs to me that Gerald's triceratops would be hard to fit onto a train car. Perhaps he is one of those already at the camp. Yes, I think that would be best. In that case, while we work this matter out with Gerald, I can begin the campaign online in the car.

Easy there, not steam-engine trains. Just caravans holding prisoners. Called trains.

Trains of prisoners? Wouldn't that be called a "Chain-Gang-Train"?

Well it said "Train Cart" which are usually found on steam engine trains. if it wore a slave train, it would be more of a cart.

Well, they don't have steam yet. Except maybe the Gnomes. They are incredibly good crafters of iron, though.

Hm ... We have lost a PC, if Gerald's not going to join. Which remains to be seen. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, all of your standing characters at the moment are Pathfinder. If you felt like coming up with ten or twelve 3.5 characters some time, I'd be perfectly willing to set up a topic in a different category.

Come to think of it, that applies to all of you. And myself. This could be fun

Just give me guidelines and a level to shoot for, and I'm on it!

Well, I have a horribly text-based format on the first page of chat, or you could link from DnDSheets. But I don't have a level to aim for. Most characters you'll use here as a PC will start at level 1, but this can also just be a place to store all those random characters of any level you've been dying to make. I'd say equip them with standard gold, or don't equip them at all, until you know what you're using them for. As for you, specifically, Arandur, if you want to make a PC character in case Gerald can't make it, you and I shall collaborate over PM to equip him/her, but it'll be level 1.
